The Anacampseros baeseckei is a special plant that occurs naturally in South Africa and northern Namibia. Here this Anacampseros grows between small stones in sandy and rocky areas.

The Anacampseros baeseckei is a small plant. It forms small trunks up to 10 cm high. The trunks sometimes remain upright or droop due to their weight. Both forms are normal and can also be seen in nature. Many small fleshy leaves grow on its stems. The plant uses this to store water to get through a long period of drought. The leaves have a fresh green color with some hair/wool on top.

At the end of summer and in autumn, the Anacampseros baeseckei can bloom. Its flower stem with several bright pink flowers grows between the leaves at the top of the plant.
