This small Aloe is a beautiful cross between an Aloe Humilis and the Aloe Pratensis. The leaves are intensely blue-green in color and are armed to the tooth with light-colored spines. The large number of spines gives the leaves a whimsical appearance. This has given this Aloe the nickname “Shark Aloe”.

In summer, a flower stem grows from the heart of the aloe that can grow up to 40 cm high. These all produce light orange flowers. The Aloe Humilis x Pratensis can withstand temperatures of -5 °C. The condition here is that the Aloe is dry and the earth in which it is placed is not wet or moist.
