The Cereus peruvianus is originally a column cactus. The Cereus peruvianus monstrosus has a completely different growth habit. The monstrous growth makes this cactus random shapes and grows in all directions. This gives you unique shapes and no two plants are the same.

The Cereus peruvianus monstrosus blue form has a beautiful blue glow. Small reddish-brown spines grow randomly from white woolly areoles.

When this cactus is around 1 meter high it can start to bloom. Large white flowers then appear, spreading a wonderfully sweet scent. When the flowers are fertilized, large pink fruits are formed.
