The Crassula Pyramidalis is a beautiful Crassula species with fine leaves. These grow very close together and give the Crassula Pyramidalis its most characteristic shape. The Crassula Pyramidalis occurs naturally in the south of the Great Karoo Desert in South Africa. Here the Crassula Pyramidalis grows between low vegetation and on hill tops.

The trunks of the Crassula Pyramidalis can reach 15 cm high and 2.5 cm wide. The Crassula Pyramidalis branches from the trunk as it grows. The trunks of the Crassula Pyramidalis are dark green in color. In summer, the tops of the plant turn orange-red in the sun.

The Crassula Pyramidalis only blooms once in its life. This happens to old plants and after flowering this Crassula dies. The Crassula Pyramidalis blooms with us in the summer. When the Crassula Pyramidalis starts to bloom, the tops of the plant change into bunches of beautiful white flowers.
