The Faucaria tuberculosa f. monstruosa is a special hybrid. Probably originated from breeding of Faucaria Tuberculosa plants in Japan.

In the Faucaria tuberculosa f. monstruosa, the leaves are slightly different from other Faucaria species. The leaves can grow slightly curved, often have multiple and randomly growing teeth on the side of the leaves. There are also often many bumps and protrusions visible on top of the leaves. This is unique for every plant. For example, Faucaria tuberculosa f. monstruosa plants its own shapes and patterns.

The leaves of the Faucaria tuberculosa f. monstruosa have a gray-green color. Depending on the amount of sun, the leaves take on a pink glow. The Faucaria tuberculosa f. monstruosa will bloom here in the fall. Usually in October and November. Just like the monstrous growth of the plant, the flowers of this Faucaria often have this as well. The flower has a bright yellow color and the petals often grow in all directions.
