The Mammillaria crinita subs. painteri variegata is a beautiful form of Mammillaria crinita subs. painteri. Due to the lack of chloroplasts, parts of this cactus have acquired a light yellow color. This is in nice contrast with the dark green color of the plant. When it blooms, the pink flowers make it complete.

The Mammillaria crinita subs. painteri variegata has many protruding long tubercles around which its light spines grow. This cactus produces many new side shoots from the main plant. This will give you a beautiful cluster of these cacti over time.
