Information

The Orbea Laticorona is a nice carrion flower species that occurs naturally in Sudan and Ethiopia. Here the Orbea Laticorona grows in dry areas among many other succulent plants. Because it is very warm there, the Orbea Laticorona likes warmth and does not like to hibernate colder than 10° degrees.

The trunks of the Orbea Laticorona are short and have 4 rows of teeth along the side. The Orbea Laticorona makes all new side branches from below. The trunks have a light green color and a red-pink drawing on them. This becomes brighter as the light intensity increases.

If the Orbea Laticorona is happy with you, it will bloom in the fall. The beautiful star-shaped flowers grow from the tops of the stems. These flowers grow to about 3 cm in size and have an orange-brown color with a red heart.
