The Rebutia Sunrise is a beautiful small cactus species. The Rebutia Sunrise was created by crossing the Rebutia heliosa and the Rebutia pulvinosa subsp. albiflora. This Rebutia has been given the name Sunrise because of the beautiful colors in its flowers.

The Rebutia Sunrise produces many new small cacti. These grow from the side of the cactus. The Rebutia Sunrise is not very prickly. It has many soft translucent white spines. These cover the cactus almost completely. Underneath these spines, the Rebutia Sunrise has a dark green color.

The Rebutia Sunrise loves to bloom. This cactus does this several times a year in spring and summer. So don't worry if it has finished blooming, because before you know it it will bloom again. The flowers grow from the side of the cactus. First you will see small red buds appear, which later grow into beautiful flowers of 3-5 cm. Sometimes the entire cactus is covered under a bed of flowers. The flowers of the Rebutia Sunrise have a white-yellow color and the ends of the petals have a pink glow. This makes the flowers of the Rebutia Sunrise a real eye-catcher.
