Information

The Sedum hernandezii is a beautiful full sedum species that you do not often encounter. In nature, Sedum hernandezii occurs in Mexico. Here this Sedum often grows on rock slopes in dry areas.

The Sedum hernandezii has many thick fleshy leaves that grow on a woody stem. This Sedum can store a lot of water in these leaves to get through a long dry period. The Sedum hernandezii produces stems about 10 cm long and branches as the plant grows taller. This gives you a nice full plant. Even if you prune it correctly and remove older leaves, this Sedum is well suited as a miniature bonsai.

The Sedum hernandezii will bloom in our country at the end of summer and in autumn. The top of the plant then turns into a cluster of bright yellow star-shaped flowers.
