The Tephrocactus Articulatus var. Papyracanthus is a beautiful cactus with unique spines. These are soft and papery to the touch. As a result, this Tephrocactus has also been given the variant name Papyracanthus. This variant has dark spines that are colored brown to gray-brown.

In nature the Tephrocactus Articulatus var. Papyracanthus native to the West of Argentina. The Tephrocactus Articulatus var. Papyracanthus produces all spherical leaves and grows into a small shrub of 30 cm high. The Tephrocactus Articulatus var.
