Monanthes Polyphylla is a beautiful symmetrical finely shaped succulent. In nature, Monanthes Polyphylla grows on the island of Gran Canaria and Tenerife.

Here the Monanthes Polyphylla grows on rock slopes at altitudes of 100 - 1500 meters. The Monanthes Polyphylla all form small rosettes and eventually grow into a small group of 20 cm in diameter. The small of the small leaves is dark green to green purple in color. In summer the leaves of the Monanthes Polyphylla turn more purple and in winter they turn back to dark green.

The Monanthes Polyphylla blooms with us from April to the end of June. These are very beautiful. A flower grows from each rosette. A stem with a yellow flower appears from the center. The heart of the flower is red in color.
