The Adenium arabicum is a beautiful and robust caudex plant. In nature, this Adenium occurs in Yemen and Saudi Arabia. Here it grows in dry rocky areas.

The Adenium arabicum is characterized by its beautiful wide caudex trunk. She can store a lot of water in her trunk to get through a long period of drought. Small stems grow from the upper part of its trunk. Its leaves grow from this. The Adenium arabicum has a rest and growth period. The dormant period is usually in autumn and winter and the growing period in spring and summer. During the growth period, small dark green leaves appear on its stems. These fall off again during the rest period. It is not always the case that these plants maintain the standard period of rest and growth. They also have a will of their own and can then simply start walking in the winter or take a rest in the middle of the summer.

The flowering period of the Adenium arabicum is in spring and autumn. Beautiful white-pink flowers grow from the tops of the stems. These flowers can remain open for several weeks.
