Information

The Adromischus Trigynus is a beautiful and compact Adromischus species that occurs naturally in mountain areas in South Africa south of the small Karoo desert. Here the Adromischus Trigynus grows between stones and pebbles on rock slopes.

The leaves of the Adromischus Trigynus are round in shape and very fleshy. They have a gray-green color with a beautiful red-purple dot pattern around them. These dots are on both sides of the leaves and color more when the Adromischus Trigynus is given a sunny place. The upper edge of the leaves has a light white-green color.

Older plants of the Adromischus Trigynus form a large caudex just above the ground. The Adromischus Trigynus stores a large amount of water in addition to the leaves to get through a period of drought.

If the Adromischus Trigynus is happy with you, it will bloom in the spring. The flower stems with gray-red tubular flowers grow from the heart of the plant.
