The Cotyledon pendens is a beautiful succulent species that occurs naturally in South Africa. Here this Cotyledon grows over steep rock slopes along the Bashe River.

The Cotyledon pendens produces long stems from which hang thick green-gray leaves. The Cotyledon pendens stores a lot of water in this area to survive a long period of drought.
