The Gymnocalycium bruchii is a beautiful small cactus species from Argentina. Here this cactus grows in different types of areas in the provinces of Córdoba and San Luis.

The Gymnocalycium bruchii has a green-gray color, many fine light-colored spines grow along its ribs. Another nice feature of this cactus is that it often produces many new side shoots. These grow from the side of the cactus. This way you ultimately get nice, full clusters that can reach 15-20 cm in diameter.

The Gymnocalycium bruchii is an easy bloomer and often an early bloomer. The first flowers can open at the end of winter on a beautiful sunny day. The Gymnocalycium bruchii often blooms several times in the spring and summer. The flowers appear at the head of the cactus. The buds initially have a gray color with scales on the outside. The flowers are white in color with a pink glow.
