The Lithops Lesliei is one of the most common Lithops species and has many different shapes and varieties. The Lithops lesliei ssp. lesliei v. lesliei C010 resembles the common Lithops Lesliei, but has the properties of Lithops plants from the site C010. The location of this Lithops lesliei ssp. lesliei v. lesliei C010 is 25 km southwest of the town of Lobatse in Botswana.

If this Lithops is happy with you, it will bloom in the fall. The large yellow flower appears between the leaves.

General information Lithops succulents

Lithops species bloom in autumn with white or yellow flowers that appear from the stones. Once a year the stones change their leaves. The outer part comes loose and a new plant grows from the middle. The new living stones eventually become larger than the previous ones. So don't be alarmed if the stone suddenly splits open and a new stone comes out. There they grow in sandy soil and are often difficult to find. This is because the Lithops species often largely withdraw into the sand during dry periods, leaving only the top of the two leaves visible.
