Information

The Rhipsalis Ramulosa is a beautiful Rhipsalis species that occurs naturally in a large area in South America. Here this Rhipsalis Ramulosa Red coral grows as an epiphyte between the branches of trees.

The Rhipsalis Ramulosa Red coral produces beautiful long leaves that have a wavy pattern along the sides. The leaves often grow downwards and can be up to 70 cm long. This makes the Rhipsalis Ramulosa Red coral well suited as a hanging plant.

The Rhipsalis Ramulosa has been given the nickname Red Coral because its leaves take on a beautiful red glow when the plant receives a lot of sunlight. If you move your hair to a slightly less sunny place, the leaves will turn back to their fresh green color. The red color can become visible on the plant after just a few days of sun. This makes this Rhipsalis Ramulosa Red coral a real eye-catcher.

The Rhipsalis Ramulosa Red coral is an easy bloomer and often blooms in autumn and winter. The Rhipsalis Ramulosa Red coral produces small green-white flowers from the sides of its leaves. When these are pollinated they turn into small white berries.

This cactus is very fragile, but because it is popular and has a beautiful appearance, we still want to offer it. We pack these cacti as best as possible. However, it may happen that some stems break off during transport. You can pot these again after +- 2 weeks of drying. These will then continue to grow again from spring onwards.
