Shipping and Returns Policy
How do we ship your order?
The shipping of your just ordered cactus is of course in good hands with us. I hear you thinking, how do you ship such a prickly, sometimes obsolete, but sometimes also fragile cactus?
The cacti are shipped in sturdy cardboard boxes and brought to your home by the parcel deliverer. Actually, just like any other online order. The cacti are shipped including soil and a plastic growing pot, so you don't have to immediately start repotting your purchase at home. As soon as your package leaves our warehouse and is transferred to PostNL, you will automatically receive the tracking information in your email.
Then there is the danger of a spike fight between the cacti when you have ordered several, and they are sitting comfortably together in the cardboard box. To prevent damage that the cacti can cause to each other, the cacti are wrapped in newspaper. The spines of a cactus do not go through this, which is very useful!
After this, the cacti are placed in the box with foam balls or plastic air cushions so that they do not shake back and forth in the box and are protected for transport during the journey to the destination.
If something unexpectedly goes wrong with the shipment, please contact Ihaveacactus as soon as possible, and we will resolve the matter!
Postage costs
When you enter the country to which you want to send the cacti and succulents on the check-out page, the shipping costs will become visible.
In the Netherlands, the shipping costs are €4.99. Orders from €50 are shipped free of charge.
To Belgium, the shipping costs are €7.50. Orders from €80 are shipped free of charge.
To Denmark the shipping costs are €12.75, orders from €125 are shipped free of charge.
To Germany the shipping costs are €7.75, orders over €100 are shipped free of charge.
To Poland, the shipping costs are €18.00. Orders from €200.00 are shipped free of charge.
To Sweden, the shipping costs are €17.25. Orders from €200 are shipped free of charge.
To France, the shipping costs are €12.50. Orders from €125 are shipped free of charge.
To Italy the shipping costs are €13.75, orders from €150 are shipped free of charge.
To Luxembourg, the shipping costs are €10.25. Orders from €110 are shipped free of charge.
To Austria, the shipping costs are €12.50. Orders from €125 are shipped free of charge.
To Spain the shipping costs are €14.50, orders from €125 are shipped free of charge.
To Portugal, the shipping costs are €16.00. Orders from €175.00 are shipped free of charge.
To the United Kingdom, the shipping costs are €20.
To Ireland, the shipping costs are €16.95
To Greece, the shipping costs are €23.75
Shipping time
We do our utmost to ship all orders placed before 2:00 PM on workdays the same day, except for weekends and public holidays. Letterbox post and parcel post via PostNL has a delivery time of 1 to 2 working days (except public holidays). Ihaveacactus is not liable for any delays during PostNL transport.
For orders to Belgium, the same delivery time can be observed as in the Netherlands.
We cannot give a fixed delivery time for orders to other European countries.

Delivery of your order
You will receive a message from Ihaveacactus with a track & trace code when the order is shipped. On the delivery day itself, you will receive a time slot in which the package will be delivered to you. Orders in the Netherlands and Belgium are delivered the next day. Except for Sundays and public holidays.
Delayed delivery times
Product is out of stock
If the cactus, succulent plant, decorative pot or other accessory is not available on time, we will contact you. We will suggest a later delivery date, refund your money or offer an alternative.
Busy with parcel delivery
Due to a certain event, delivery times may be delayed and take longer than normal. Think of the Black Friday weekend or around the holidays. Ihaveacactus is not liable for any delays during transport by PostNL and its partner companies.
Night frost
Most cacti and succulents cannot withstand frost. If heavy frost is predicted both during the day and at night, we will postpone the order until weather conditions allow cacti to be shipped. This is stated on our Homepage. Also, when sending resumes. Do you want the cacti anyway? You can contact us, and we will ship them at your own risk. We pack them in aluminium foil and bubble wrap for temperature protection.
Returns Policy
For the return or recall of ordered products, we make a distinction between plants and other products such as soil, nutrition and decorative pots. Returning your plants is not possible because these products can spoil within the statutory 14-day cooling-off period. All our cacti, succulents and other plants are included. Because it cannot be guaranteed that these plants have been properly cared for by the buyer, they cannot be returned. All plants are checked for quality at our growers and before your plants leave our greenhouse. We only supply 100% quality products. If you believe that you have received a plant that does not meet the quality requirements, please contact us. We always provide a suitable solution.
Has your cactus or succulent plant contracted a disease? Is the cactus becoming less beautiful? Will the cactus die completely? There is a good chance that your cactus is not in the right place or is not getting the right amount of water. In most cases, this can be traced back to healthcare. Therefore, please contact Ihaveacactus if you see something strange about your cactus or succulent. In many cases, we can advise you so that you can fully enjoy your plant afterwards.
Other products can be returned within the 14-day cooling-off period. However, you must first contact us by email within the 14-day cooling-off period. We can help you with return instructions, address and shipping labels.
After this notification, you have another 14 days to return the product. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, you must return the product with all supplied accessories and – if reasonably possible – in the original condition and packaging. You will then be credited with the full order amount, excluding shipping costs. The costs for returning are at your own expense. The amount due will be refunded within 14 days after registration of your return, provided that the product has already been received by us in good order.
