Information

The Argyroderma delaetii is a special plant species that you do not encounter every day. In nature, this Argyroderma Knersvlakte grows in South Africa. Here this plant grows between quartz stones on vast fields.

The Argyroderma delaetii has a beautiful gray-blue color. The plant consists of two leaves that grow slightly overgrown. Once a year the plant changes its leaves and gets a new set. This usually happens in the spring for us. The old leaves first start to shrivel slightly and then dry completely. Two new leaves then grow from the heart of the plant. This cycle repeats itself every year.

The Argyroderma delaetii is an easy bloomer. She does this in the fall. The flower then appears on a small stem between the leaves. The flowers can grow up to 5 cm in size. The entire plant then disappears under it. The flower color of this species is variable and often a surprise. The flowers can be white, red, yellow, pink and purple.
