The Cereus Jamacaru Spiralis is a beautiful twisted column cactus. The Cereus Jamacaru originally occurs in various areas in Brazil. Here it can grow into large trees. The twisted spiral shape is a cultivated shape. Due to the twist shape, this Cereus Jamacaru has been given the name Spiralis.

Many cacti of this species continue to grow twisted. You never have a real guarantee. These cacti sometimes have a mind of their own and can suddenly start growing straight again. But they don't forget it. You often see that after a few years of straight growth, the twisting growth returns. The special growth habit of the Cereus Jamacaru Spiralis makes this cactus unique.

In the summer, when we have longer periods of hot days in a row, the Cereus Jamacaru Spiralis can bloom. This rarely happens, so when this cactus starts to bloom it is really a reward for taking good care of it. As soon as the flower buds appear, you can mist them with water in the evening or early in the morning. This can prevent the buds from drying out.
