Can't get enough of living stones? Or do you remain fascinated by the beautiful drawing on stones? Then Ikhebeencactus now has nice clusters with a mix of living stones in a 5.5 cm pot. They bloom in the fall with white or yellow flowers that appear from the stones. Once a year the stones change their leaves. The outer part comes loose and a new plant grows from the middle. The new living stones eventually become larger than the previous ones. So don't be alarmed if the stone suddenly splits open and a new stone comes out. There they grow in sandy soil and are difficult to find. This is because the Lithops species largely withdraw into the sand during dry periods, leaving only the top of the two leaves visible.
