The Orbea grandiflora is a beautiful and large Orbea species. In nature, Orbea grandiflora occurs in a large area in South Africa. Here the Orbea grandiflora grows in various areas where little water falls.

The Orbea grandiflora has a dark green color and the top of the stems can get a slight red glow from the sun. The stems are covered with many tiny transparent hairs. This ensures that the stems of the downy replenish. The stem of the Orbea grandiflora can grow up to 30 cm long with a diameter of 3 cm. This makes it one of the larger Orbea species. The stems branch out from the sides. This Orbea can grow over the years into a cluster of up to 50 cm.
