Information

The Tephrocactus Molinensis is a beautiful cactus species that is unique in its appearance. In nature, the Tephrocactus Molinensis grows in Argentina. Here the Tephrocactus Molinensis grows on large open sandy plains.

The Tephrocactus Molinensis is green in color and old plant parts can turn green-brown as they get older or due to the intense sun. The Tephrocactus Molinensis is a very slow grower and only produces a few new leaves per year. The Tephrocactus Molinensis does not have spines. However, there are all kinds of small sharp hairs around the areoles. So don't be seduced by her cuddly appearance.

When the Tephrocactus Molinensis is happy, it can bloom in spring and summer. The flowers appear on top of the last formed leaves. They are white to light cream white in color and spread a sweet scent. It can sometimes be very difficult to get the Tephrocactus Molinensis to bloom. This can sometimes take years.
